So, I just received my JET placement email (by email and not post as apparently they’re waiting for the handbook and I think a lot of people have been nagging them - amazingly me NOT being one of them) and..

I’m off to.. Oita Prefecture! I’m excited actually, really excited. I’ve never been to Kyushu but always wanted to so this is perfect. At first I was a little taken aback and a bit upset as I did have my heart on Okinawa but Mushi is coming anyway and.. this is a new adventure!

I have no idea what awaits me in Oita (I don’t even know where it is exactly I’ll be living so I’m being told that means High schools!) but I’m ready, I’m excited and totally up for this!
